BLAKE OKE Corresponde Ebenezer and Courtice, Feb. 10 --The Farm Forum meeting held at the home of Glen and Mrs. Pickell, had under discussion "Is Farm Income Used Efficiently?" It was decided that the farmers should have more modern conveni- ences, but it really was their prob- lem, as some felt that it was be- vond their means. If farm equip- ment was not so costly, it would mean a great deal towards this end. Co-operatively working and buying would also assist in many ways. Health and education were two things which should be made available to all members of the family regardless of debt incurred. Attendance, 16. Refreshments were served at the close and a social time spent together. Services on Sunday were in charge of Rev. F. Yardley. The attendance was not so good, due to road conditions. The choir supplied suitable music. Sunday School ses- sion was as usual. The Woman's Missionary Society and the Woman's Association will join the Maple Grove societies on iday - for the World Day of Prayer which is being held at Maple Grove. On Friday the Woman's Associ- ation is sponsoring a "Lost Heir" arty, to be held at Courtice hurch. Tables for lost heir will be provided for adults and crokinole will be provided for the juniors.
