Even the last night of His earthly life, He talked to them and gave them rules for living as He would have them: "keep My command- ments; love one another. .. . These thing have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you." "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, he will teach you all things, and Bring all things to your remembrange whatsover I have said unto you." It has been or is being trans- lated into every known language and dialect in the world. It went with our boys as they marched and sailed and flew in the last great war. Free copies are placed in hotel rooms, hospital rooms and many schools, The Bible is really a collection of ooks, some of which are three thousand years old. Some contain the foretelling of events whose ful- fillment is recorded by history. Other prophecies are eine ful- filled before our eyes. The thoughtful perusal of the Bible has a beneficial effect upon morals. A very small percentage of those who regularly attend Sun- day School ever appear in juvenile court, Magistrates recognize this and usually appoint that those re- lease on suspended sentence shall attend Sunday School. Though the war is over the peace has not yet been won, There is great distres of nations agrravat- ed by political upheavals, instabili- ty of currency and actual hunger. India has won her freedom, or -- hasn't she? China is still at war within her borders. Blood flows in Palestine and Europe talks of the iron curtain.
