That a mutual, kindly Spire has existed between the late Mr. Burton and neighbors of about 40 years ago has been evidenced by the friendly intercourse during that long per- iod, and a Christmas card with an especially fine message received from the late Mr. Burton and Miss Edna Burton by Mr. and Mrs. Rich J. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ogle, have returned to St. Catharines and and SCIENCE has proved there are certain food elements everyone needs for health. If there aren't enough of them in a child's food, serious things can happen--such as loss of appetite, stunted growth, soft bones, poor , faulty nerves, defective eyesight. Ovaltine supplements the diet with elements frequently deficient in ordinary foods. Three servings of Ovaltine furnish a significant portion of a child's daily requirements" ot Vitamins A, Bi, C, D, Riboflavin (B2), and Niacin and Minerals Calcium, Phosphorus and Iron. In addition it provides the basic food substances--complete proteins to build muscle, nerve and body cells | --high-energy foods for vitality and | endurance. It thus acts as an insurance | against food deficiencies that retard normal growth. So if your child eats poorly, is thin, underpar, perhaps nervous, why not try delicious Ovaltine for normal growth and better appetite. OVALTINE . We all rejoice in the great progress this circuit has made. A fine congregation attended the service on Sunday last, when our minister presented the New Year's message. congregation was perhaps a little shocked when he said he did not believe in making New Year's resolutions as too of- ten they were easily broken. He did qualify his statement by ask- Candy was, ing us all to create within our- selves an attitude of helpful ser- vice and ih this attitude through the church we all would find many outlets for Christian work. Among other things he said he would not need to wish us a year of oppor- tunity for service, as the year would bring in every day heaps of opportunities for service. Ours is to be an attitude' ready to serve and we would then be able to see more clexriy the place and wor where we might serve most effec- tively.
