Of course, the boys have bots playing all along with Boston Olynipiés in the Eastern U.S. a o League--despite their C.AHA. Pp and p an a eg agreement between the two governing bodies that they would sup- port each other's suspensions. There in one small news story you have revealed two pertinent facts. First, the C.AH.A, is not Joy strictly amateur when it orders players to return money they have received. Second, The U.S, Eastern League is operating as it likes, regard to the for C.A.H.A. rulings on suspensions. Add this Wien: ockey team farce and it becomes obvious present Canadian Olympic he that it's time the C.A.H.A. toughened up--or refrain from bluffing on the strength of their alleged "power." * J The first practice workout for the Oshawa Junior "B" OHA. This is Guelph's last visit of the season to Oshawa so any Jocal hockey fans who haven't yet seen the Hatters in action, had better take in tomorrow night's game here. Incidentally, it's the last "home game" for the Generals for two full weeks, next one here being a visit from the Teepees on Saturday, January 3rd. This means the fans will get "a rest" here during the holiday season and will be able to concentrate on their festive activities. However, this game here tomorrow night is important to the Generals. They need the two points if they are to keep within reach of the Windsor Spit- * fires and in addition, theyll be gunning™for their third.straight shut out of the season. They've whipped out the whitewash brush twice in the past six days and if they do it again tomorrow night, it will be a real feather for the Generals. . We learned that "Gord" Perri- man was running into many un. foreseen difficulties in the instal lation of the ski tow. With a little luck "Gord" should have the tow in operation by the first of the New Year. "Ben" Fallman and "Ive" Rich- ards reported that all arrangements for the competitions had been com- pleted.
