Mr, Justice F. H. Barlow dis- dismissed Holder's action for an or- der restraining the utilities com- mission from addng "harmful cheme« 'icals" to the water. The Judge said the action was "most extraordinary." Holder, inventor of the mach- ine, said amything which register- ed mare than "18 units" on it was dangerous. : He had tested Dr. A. E, Berry, director of sanitary engineering in the Ontario Public Health Depart- ment. The test had shown "24 units" and Holder had told Dr. Berry he had ulcers. "He admitted it," the Inventor added. Differential Finding Due Soon, NWLB ottawa, Dec. 18.--(CP)~The Na- tional War Labor Board's finding and direction for elimination of wage differentials at the Sydney, N.S., steel plant, has been drawn up and will go out to Sydney short- ly, a Board spokesman said here. The Board announced last month it was authorizing wage increases for the Sydney workers to elimin- ate differentials between them and workers at Ontario basic steel plants. At Sydney today, the United Steel Workers of America (C.CL.) disclosed negotiations with the com- pany for the raises had been ad- journed until the finding and di- rection had been received there.
