Mowbray in charge of programme, The Women's Association held their July meeting at the home of Mrs. Ed. Lee, n Wednes- day afternoon last. There was a large attendance of members and frienls. Meeting opened with ine hymn, "O Jesus I- Promised", followed by the Scripture reading, read dy Mrs. F. Bergin, and medi- tation by Mrs. R. E. Mowbray. Prayer was given by Mrs, A, "Hook- er. The minutes of the last meet- ing were then read and the roll- call fully responded to. The presi- dent, Mrs. R. E, Mowbray, then sonducted the business session, af- ter which the following program was given: a reading, "Why Help The Burglars?" by Mrs. Coates; an oral Bible contest by Mrs. Gormley, reading, "Friendship", by Mrs. Led- gett; reading, "Little Places" by §ASEEIIINOITIRNIE. Mrs. Empringham; an oral menu contest conducted by Mrs. J. Stell, and a reading, "Sunrise" by Miss , Mrs. A, Harbron closed the meeting with Jaye. 'The la- dies then enjoyed a social hour, during which the hostess assisted by oS two daughters, Mrs. N. Wil- son and Mrs, L Empringham, served a grand lunch.
