Coal Dust Never Killed Anyone, Says John Gray New Glasgow, N.S.--Coal dust never killed anyone, according to John Gray, a resident of this town who worked 66 vears in 'the mines of Nova Scotia and still is hale and hearty at the age of 79, He began to work underground before he reached the age of ten and grew up with the Nova Scotia coal industry. He retired three vears ago, Durinz his long career he never was ill for more than a day or two at a time. Despite the dangers attending underground work he learned to love the mines, and his friends used to tell him he had a charm- ed life, He never was a victim of a serious accident, but he has a clear recollection of many trag- edies. He remembers the great Drum- mond explosions of 1873, snuffed out the lives of 60 of his comrades. He was preparing to go underground when the second ex- plosion occurred, and he will tell about the terrible scenes as rescue volunteers from neighboring col- leries followed the trap to death John Gray his first sea tell you what him about it On April 9, 1855 tine Voltageur, one of the Kit- chen vessels built at River John, arrived in Pictou from Seotland with about 300 souls: on board, mostly Scottish families. Burning hydrochloric acid de- velops in the stomach at an alarming rate. The acid irritates and inflameg the delicate stomach lining and often leads to gastri- tis or stamach ulcers. Don't dose an acid stomach with pepsin or artificial digestants that only give temporary relief from pain by driving the sour, fermenting food out of the stomach into the intestines. Instead, neutralize or sweeten vour acid stomach after meals with a little Bisurated Magnesia amd not only will the pain vanish but your meals will digest nat- urally. There is nothing better than Bisurated Magnesia, to sweeten and settle an acid stom- ach. Your stomach acts and feels fine in just a few minutes.
