(121a) Barn Destroyed Picton, ~-- The barn on the farm at Christian street, owned by Mrs. Emima Ainsworth, and tenanted by Mr. Sam Cluting, was a total loss as a result of being struck by lightning on Moaday night. The building burned with two calves, a pig and the mach- inery stored there. Some house- hold furniture belonging to Mr. Cluting's son which was stored in the barn was also lost. TLe building was a good hLasement barn and the loss will be heavy.
