Several sport lovers were In Stouffville on Tuesday to witness the Softball contest between the teams of Stouffville and Claremont High Schools. In the girls' con~ test Claremont won from Stouff- ville by a score of 24-4, In the boys' contest the honors were re- versed, and Claremont was badly defeated. It looks as if our boys do some extra practising before the Stouffville teams play a re- turn visit to Claremont. A number of our local Masons attended a meeting of the Acacia Lodge of AF, and A.M. in Toron- to, on Monday evening. It was reunion night for Past Masters of 926, of Toronto District B, and J. 8. Seeding operations are well un der way and some farmers in this locality have completed the work.
