MING SCHEME BIG BOO FOR TRINIDAD LIMES -- Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, B.W.L, April 27.--A huge advertising scheme to boom West Indies limes, particularly the limes of Trini- dad, is being undertaken by a Canadian company which states that it will give away 1,000,000 lime drinks in connection with the campaign. The million free drinks will be emphasized in the Dominion, where it is hoped to secure a valuable market for West Indies limes by educatiig the peo- ple of Canada as to its uses. The free drinks will be given away at important centres. The proposal, however, is subject to the co-oper- ation of the lime growers of the West Indies, who will be asked to supply the limes required for the campaign free of charge in view of the company undertaking the heavy expenses entailed in the scheme, including the advertising campaign. It is proposed to do fum of newspaper advertisements, radio broadcasts and free recipe booklets, informing the Canadian public as to the true merits and the variety of uses for the British West Indies limes.
