There was not a large atendance, but the appre- ciation of good music was shown by those who were present. It is said that music hath charms, and this was proven by the manner in which every number was applauded and encored. Mrs. Williamson, Peterboro, was a new artist to appear before a Hampton audiénce, and won much admiration by her personality as well as by her pleasing voice in the several numbers given throughout the program, which were accom- panied by our able accompaniest Norah O. Horn. Miss Louise Courtice gave a reading bearing on Easter and the Prim- ary Class under the direction of Miss Hattie Osborne and' Sadie Muir sang a pretty chorus, The funeral of the late W. E. Courtice on Monday was very largely attended showing the high esteem in which he was held. Mr. Courtice was 2 man of fine Christ- fan character and until he hecame physically unable, was & promin- ent worker in the church and in every good cause.
