Batty's. The nature of the meeting was "Ploneer Times," Reeve C, L. Mackey acted as chair man. Different papers were read bearing upon pioneer times, while the songs were the very oldest that could be found. Many antiques were on exhibit and afforded much interest. Many incidents of pioneer events in the township were given by those pre- sent. After a splendid lunch of old time cooking the company of over sixty in members départed feeling that a very pleasant and profitable evening had been spent. On Friday evening last everyone reported a splendid time at the La. crosse Club dance which was held in the Community Hall. Miss Norma Rainey of Toronto spent the week-end with friends here.
