Marching 15,000 strong in a parade witnessed by nearly 50,000 citizens. who lined the route, they trod in solemn protest from Cecil and Beverley streets to Massey hall, There, amid frequent out- bursts of re-echoing cheers and hand clapping, more than 3,500 of their number staged one of the most colorful public meetings ever held in Toronto and made an inijt- ial contribution of $7,500 to the relief fund for the beleagured Pal- estinians.
