WOMAN SHOT BY FORMER BOARDER Had Appeared in Police Court at Instigation of Woman For Theft Sudbury, Ont, May 27.--Mrs. Rosie Pashanuk, 38, Sudbury boarding house keeper, was shot through the left lung last cvening at seven o'clock while entering her back door with an armful of wood, and died a few minutes: later. Peter Myhal, a former roomer, was arrested by the Sudbury police who stated he admitted the shooting. J The shot was fired from the upper window of a house on Minto Lane, 300 feet away. The bullet entered the woman's back below the shoulder blade and passed through the lung. Dr. G. R. Jones was immediately call- ed but the woman died within a few moments of his arrival. Troublé between Nyhal and 'the dead woman brought him into polige court several months ago when he was acquitted on a charge of petty theft.
