A half hour of worship and Bible study was led by the Rev. A, McLel- lan after which a pleasant evening was spent in music, games, ete. a dainty lunch was served at the close and the guests all voted Mr. and Mrs. Wilson and family real hosts. Mr. and Mrs. George Middleton have leased the farm owned by Mrs. J. Borland. The house is being entirely re-decorated in readiness for the new oecupants. Mrs. C. A. Overland was in Tor- onto on Wednesday. Mises, Effie Mitier and Mary MacNab are visiting in Toronto. The monthly meeting of the Wo- men's Association and W,M.S. will be held at the home of Mrs. H. Leask on Wednesday afternoon, Mar, 13th, at 3 p.m, All members are re- quested to be present. Mr. and Mrs. Pill Clarke and son Harvey accompanied by Mrs. L. Scott and Mrs. R. Scott snd little son Beverley spent Saturday in Osh- awa the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Topping, Eulalie St. Mr. and Mrs. I. Irwin and daugh- ter, Sina, spent Sunday with friends in Prince Albert. Mr. and Mrs. J. Harding were in Oshawa on Friday. Mrs. Alvin Bruce and two children visited with relatives in Toronto last week, Mr. H. Demara of Scugog spent the week-end with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Ripley and Miss Daisy Ripley visited with friends on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ripley and family are moving to Oshawa, where they will reside. They were the recipients of some beautiful gifts from their Zion friends. We all wish them success in their new home. Mrs. John Mark and Mrs. F. Wat- son are on the sick list, while the 'condition of Mrs. J. Lamb is still very serious. Miss Myrtle Cookman and Miss Mabel Rennie who have had positions with our local storekeeper for some time, left for their respective homes on Saturday last; while here they made many friends, and will be missed by all who knew them. Miss Irene Spafford spent the week- end with her parents at Greekbank.
