PRESENTATION AT MEETING OF THE LADIES' AID St. Andrew's Society Re- ports Very Successful Work During Year St. Anderw's Ladies' Aid met in 'he ladies parlor of the church on Thursday afternoon, with the pres- ident, Mrs. P, Wannan, convening the meeting. The scripture lesson was read by Mrs. W, Cowan. A report was given of the supper and program given by the Ladies' Aid to the teachers and members of the Sunday School on Tuesday, December 18. A pleasant feature of the after- nogn was the presentation of a life membership to the Women's - Missionary Socity made by Mrs. F. McLaughlin to Mrs. P. Wannan. Mrs. P. Kyle also presented th¥ Aid with a mantle clock for the mantle in the ladies' parlors. The treasurer's report for the year 1928 was given and it was found that the total amount rais- od for the year was $2,000 and of this $1,000 was doaated to the building fund and $400 to the man- g th d.
