It is with heavy hearts that we

announce the passing of our

husband, father, grandfather,

brother, uncle and friend in his

71st year. Kind, caring and

ever-supportive husband to

Beth, always loving father to

Eran (predeceased), Michael

(Jamie), Theresa and Robin

(Adriano). Most adored

Grandpa to Jaxon, Chloey,

Collin, Amelia and Luca.

Beloved brother to Susan

(Matthew), Jim (Judy), June

(predeceased) and Margaret.

Proud uncle to many nieces

and nephews. John was a

trusted and dedicated Funeral

Director for most of his life,

continuing the legacy set by

his Grandfather, W.C. Town,

and his father, Jack Town.

After retiring from Courtice

Funeral Chapel, he spent his

final years enjoying his family

and friends. He was the best

of men - kind, generous,

responsible and dependable.

He loved his family above all,

and they were always in his

thoughts and in his heart. We

will miss him so much.

Visitation and Funeral Service

was held at the Courtice

Funeral Chapel, 1587 Highway

#2 Courtice (905-432-8484)

on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

In lieu of flowers, donations

will be gratefully accepted to

the Canadian Cancer Society

or the Salvation Army.

Online condolences may be

made at www.courticefuneral
