I wonder if we became a city too fast, It is most annoying, and it seems to be 2 weekly practice to have the power off, Why is there not a double line? If one line goes wrong, they should be in a position to switch on to the other or on the other hand Oshawa should have its own power plant in case of trouble, Then we should be in a position to use our own power, Eizhty per cent. of the pcople cooking, but the joke comes in when they don't know if they will eat today or tomorrow. These conditions we would expect to find in some outlandish spot, but why pick on Oshawa? If this kind of thing is to con- tinue, then lot us go back to the wood stove or have some action BAMA and less tnlk. We are going to be left in (®rkness some evening, then who knows what may hap- pen, I am sure our police de partment is not strong enough to handle the situation, I read all the doings of Birds- ave Centre--you will find it in the Weekly Star--but they don't seem to have some of the troubles Oshawa has to go through some times.
