Mrs. Blake Courtice and Miss Florence attended the anniversary services in Trinity United Church, Bowmanville on Sunday and were guests of Mrs. A. E, Clenrence. Sunday the services were in charge of Rev. Dr. Ross, the Ey- angelist and Mr. T. H. Nichols, who led in the service of song. Dr. Ross preached two beautiful ser- mons and Mr, Nichols who has an exceptionally fine voice sang a solo, at both morning and evening services. The special services are being conducted this week at No.! § school, Courtice, and next weeXx at Ebenezer church. The meetings are fairly well attended and Dr. Ross gives 8 most helpful and in-| spiring address each evening and the singing led by Mr. Nichols, is heartily sung by all. There will be n oYoung People's meet- ing this week. Mr. Ronald Courtice has re- turned home from his trip to the West. When the harvesting was finished he visited Edmonton, Banff. and before leaving for home spent a most pleasant week in Calgary with his uncle, Mr. Luther L. Courtice.
