Nungesser, mother of Charles Nungesser, who disappeared with Francois Coli somewhere in the Atlantic last May while trying to fly from Paris to New York, her share of the fun raised in the United States for the benefit of the families of the two fliers. Government Bonds Mr, Rousseau, who under instrue- tions cabled from New York by Dud- ley Field Malone, Chairman of the committee in charge of raising the money, was accompanied by Joshua Campbell and Major Jules Bellot officials of the bank, took the fund. in the form of French Government bonds, having a value of 745,000 francs, vielding an income of 29,832 francs yearly, and a cheque on the Bank of France for 133.345 francs. It was delivered to Mme. Nun- gesser in a room hung with pictures of Nungesser, Colonel Lindbergh: and Ambassador Herrick, and in which the hats, gloves, coats and swords of the lost aviators are piously pre- served. Handing the fund to Mme. Nun- gesser, Mr, Rousseau explained to her how glad America was at the opportunity to show respect to the memory of her heroic son. She re- plied, thanking then signed a receipt, and the money and bonds were hers to do with as she chose. No trust fund has been created nor any restrictions made for the protection of the fund, other than the investmenti n the conser- vative but easily transferable Gov- ernment securities, Remainder to Coli's Family The remainder of the fund goes to the Coli family, which consists of the airman"s father, mother, widow and three daughters, and to- morrow Mr. Rousseau will journey to Marseilles for this purpose.
