The remainder of the pro- gram consisted of the Bible reading and study by Gordon Osborne, a reading by George Caverly, and mouth organ music by James hau- cock, who was accompanied on the pano by Rev, Stainton. Only a fair- ly good crowd was present but a very helpful and interesting cven- ing was spent. Weather continues to be fine and fairly warm, and farmers are busy, with the ploughing and the gather- | ing in of 'their root crops. But the S.S. hall was well filled with those who ventured out to have a good time regard- less of rain. The supper, served by the ladies was a success and all en- joyed the chicken pie as usual. The ladies of this community need no compliment in this respect as they are so well and favorably known. The program was very entertaining, too. The 8.8. superintendent, Mr, R. F. Lick, made a very able chair- man. Mrs. Cran:" Rerry. of Osh- awa, gave very nice solos which were wiuch enjoyed.
