Motherwell: An-|[t nounces Jubilee of Can- ~ada's Basic Industry Ottawa, Sept. 28. -- "Canada's Agricultural Jubilee" is to be cele- brated in this 60th year of Con- federation and due recognition paid to agriculture--the greatest of the Dominion's basic industries, Announcement to this effect is made by the Hon. W. R, Motherwell, Federal Minister of Agriculture, who has initiated plans through which it is hoped will he brought home to the people of Canada the far-reach- ing extent and importance agricul- ture plays in Canadian life.
