F. Roadhouse of Toronto, Secretary for North America of the World-Wide Evangelization Crusade gave an inspiring address, illustra- ted by some very powerful lantern views, at Athol street Mission Hall last might. The mission fields rep- resented by Mr. Roadhouse include the heart of Africa, Amazonia in South America, Arabia and Central Asia. The work was founded by Charles T. Studd, B.A., whose life story "From Champion Athlete to Master Missionary" reads like a modern miracle. STOCK MARKETS NEW YORK High Low 58 57% Atchison 189% 188% Amer. Isadore Mey- er, an usher, fell with a bullet DA through the left side of the body and the gunman escaped. With the arrival of police, Mrs. Pauline Friedman declared that the man had forced his attentions on her during the showing of the pic- ture and had otherwise been ob- noxious. The theatre filled prineci- pally with women and children, was soon in an uproar and most of the audience adjourned to the lobby to help to evict the man. Meyer will recover, CHRISTIAN CHURCH Rev. W.
