The family is saddened to announce the passing of an amazing Dad and Grandpa in his 90th year on July 3, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Camille Marie (1999). Cher- ished father of Walt Jr., Heidi (Jim) and Marlene (Paul). Proud grandpa of Aaron; Hunter, Bauer; Owen, Colson and Kyla. Walter immigrated from Switzerland when he was 20 years old. He was licensed as a Swiss Cabinet Maker and dedicated 30 years to the City of Oshawa. Walter played soccer in the Durham area for the European league. He dedicated many years of his life to coaching, soccer, ringette and broomball. He was a mentor to many in the sporting world on the fields and at the rinks. A private immediate family interment has taken place at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.
