WAGNER, Stuart Gordon

February 16, 1936 - May 20, 2021

Stu passed away at home in Oshawa on Thursday, May 20th, with his loving wife Mary by his side, at the age of 85 years.

Stu was predeceased by his first wife Marion, son Gary and brother Doug. Stu was father to Willa Wagner-Lebel, step- father to Carol (Tony) Westerink, David (Sonja) Blakely and Dan (Melanie) Blakely. Poppa Stu to Julie, Chantal, Will, Danya, Brad, Shane, Ainsley and Shelby, Great Papa Stu to Mason, Brayden, Maisey and Coraline and brother to Marjorie.

Stu graduated from Ryerson Polytechnic University as an Electrical Engineer which led him to Oshawa where he

enjoyed a fulfilling career with General Motors of Canada, GM CAMI Assembly Plant in Ingersoll, Ontario, GM Japan, and then back to retire from GM Oshawa where he served in different plants. Stu belonged to the Model Trail Club, Sparrow Lake Sailing Club and also provided entertainment at the Oshawa Generals intermission with figure skating tricks and antics, he loved his mornings with Mary golfing and had a passion for photography and videography. Mary and Stu enjoyed many trips independently and with Mervs Carins travel club, but was always happiest at the cottage on Deep Bay, in Severn Township.

Due to Covid restrictions, a private family service will be held on Saturday, May 29th at 2 p.m. To view the service virtually please follow the link found on the website. Arrangements entrusted to NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville. Memorial Donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
