Elma was born and raised in Uxbridge, Ontario where she met and married her childhood sweetheart Jack. While he was overseas in World War II she worked as a bomb girl in Ajax. Upon his return they farmed until moving to Oshawa where she took a position at Eatons. Later she was hired to teach at Ritson Road and Queen Elizabeth Public Schools. All the while they raised four children-Ronald, Reginald, Carolyn and Debra. Since retiring she enjoyed her six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, bowling, bridge and the Oshawa Legion. After Jack's passing she married John Neuman

and had many years of happiness. Due to Covid 19 Elma has

been in lockdown off and on for over a year. No celebration is possible this year so please send a card or best wishes to brighten her day to #227-105 Queen St., Bowmanville, Ontario L1C 0T3.
