MCGIBBON, Douglas Clark
1940 - 2021

It's with heavy hearts that we have lost a wonderful & devoted husband, dad, Poppa, uncle and friend on Monday April 12th, 2021 at Bowmanville Hospital.
Devoted & loving husband to Peggy (nee Collis). Loving brother to Carl (predeceased), William (Irene) and Janet. Loving dad to Dale (Ewart), Darryl (Susan), Lesley (Roy), Jennifer and Meredith (predeceased Rob). Loving Poppa to Michael (Kate), Amanda (Dustin), Andrew, Matthew, Kyle, Grace (Robbie), Brent, McKenna (Cole), Reilly, Avery, Audrey, Kristy (Doug), Amanda (Paul), Derrick and Darryl. Loving great Poppa to Kai, Nyla, Zita, Jacob, Payge, Natalie, Carly, Ayla, Chase, Isla & Callan. A wonderful uncle to many nieces & nephews, and a very special uncle to Barbie & Jimmy Yakura.
A very special thank you to Dr. Harvey Williams, the nurses at Bowmanville Hospital, our many cherished friends and Pastor Jacques Nadeau of Newcastle Fellowship Baptist Church.
Due to Covid protocols a celebration of life (Outdoors) will be held in the warmer weather by invitation only. At Doug's request, his cremation will be handled by NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville. Memorial Donations may be made to The Cancer Society.
