Age 48, passed away suddenly on January 23, 2021 in Huntsville ON while ice fishing, one of his greatest loves. He was born in Oshawa, ON on February 6, 1972 to Larry Pooler and Gail (Dean) Westbrook. He was a long time resident of Clarington. Jeremy will be forever remembered by his beloved wife, Susan and three daughters, Hayden, Sam (Josh), Alex (Juan) and Mother- in-law Pat Armstrong. Survived and greatly missed by sisters Sara Pooler, Amy Pooler Coburn, Megan Pooler, many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, brother-in- laws, sister-in-laws, close friends and Jeremy's sidekick, Oscar. Jeremy was 2nd generation General Motors employee and a dedicated union member. He was a
devoted Committee Person for his GM "brothers and sisters" who could count on Jeremy to lend a hand or listening ear. He was well thought of and respected by his peers and those who loved him. He was a great outdoorsman, with a passion for fishing no matter what the season and would look for any chance to spend time at the cottage on Lake of Bays. His devotion to his mother-in-law was stellar. Jeremy had a love for the East Coast, catching a wave on Hirtles Beach NS, along with his love for his special Algonquin Provincial Park. The outpouring of stories, pictures and love for Jeremy shows how much of an impact he made on this world. We are all so proud of the man Jeremy had become and better for having known him as the special person he truly was. We will all hold part of him in our memories. Jeremy was deeply passionate about getting involved and helping his community and the responsibility we have to walk out in nature's beauty. Donations can be made to Bethesda House, Bowmanville, ON; Clarington Food Bank or Friends of Algonquin Provincial Park.
