It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marjorie, peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 96. Marjorie was the eldest child, and only daughter of Albert and Ethel Haire. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Tom of Lindsay and is predeceased by brothers Fred, Victor, Harry and William (Bill). Sister-in-law of Fred Soule of Belleville and Karen Haire of Lindsay. Beloved wife of the late Russell (2014) for over 60 years and cherished mother of Stephen, Jacqueline (Scott) Watt, Wayne (Kathy) and predeceased by son Larry (Petra). She will be greatly missed by her loving grandchildren Derrick (Erin) Watt, Ian (Mary) Watt, Leanne (David) Kelly, Brandon (Jessica) Soules, and Lisa Soules (Kaleb) as well as her four great-granddaughters whom she adored immensely: Paige, Braelyn, Aurora and Elara, and step-great- grandson Kyus. Although Marjorie was born in Oshawa, she spent most of her childhood in Belleville and moved to Oshawa to raise her family. She was a former employee of Sears for over 25 years and enjoyed spending time with friends and family, as well as traveling. Services were held at the De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa. Marjorie was laid to rest at Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the
Alzheimer Society.
