Beginning with the mission statement, the plan focussed on areas such as regional tourism, hospitality, community beautification, long range infrastructure development, rural lifestyle, education, regional agencies, establishing small business/industry, investment readiness and the pursuit, support, promotion and enhancement of each. Josh will present the final draft statement with amendments at a future meeting. The NOSTA Memorandum of Understanding will be drafted by Josh and presented to council at a later time. The point is to keep it standard and maintain payment (based on population) while receiving the same services. Josh did advise that the membership fee may increase slightly.
