Jesus Christ died for the Church! The Church through Jesus Christ, has been commissioned to carry out His mission on earth. If we refuse to get involved, we miss the opportunity to be a good influence in the lives of others. Each of us have the choice whether or not we invest our lives in a worthwhile purpose. Matt. 19:20... “Your heart will be where your treasure is.†Earthly treasures can be here today and gone tomorrow. He is your only Security. Church attendance is decreasing rather than increasing. Because you deserve a sleep-in, does not explain why you miss Church. It is a matter of selfishness. Church worship is all about an encounter with God and others that change who we are. Many wish to attend and physically are unable to attend. Where does our priorities lie? Here we meet new friends and renew old ones. At Church, we learn more about Bible and thank God for another week of life. Committing to dedicated weekly service help to keep us grounded in the Lord, not to diminish the value of prayer and meditation at other times. The secular world would love to see the churches dwindle and die. Is this your wish? He will guide the steps of those that roll out rather than roll over. Heb. 10:25... “You should not stay away from the church meetings, as some are doing, but you should meet together and encourage each other. Do this even more as you see the day coming.†Years ago my mother said “Lenora if you are looking for that perfect church, you better not attend.†In His Family Chaplain Lenora Rowsell For all your advertising needs, contact the friendly staff at the Nipigon-Red Rock Gazette, Call today for more informationâ€" 887-3583 SUPERIOR NORTH CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD ANNOUNCES KINDERGARTEN PROGRAMS FOR 4 & 5 YEAR OLDS SEPTEMBER 2008 REGISTRATION IS WELCOME AT St. Hilary School, Red Rock Wednesday, February 20, 2008 Joy Magee, Principal 886-2661 St. Edward School, Nipigon Thursday, February 21, 2008 Bill Beacage, Principal 887-2810 For registration appointment, please call the appropriate school, on or before February 19, 2008.
