Unlicensed Minister Says BELHAVEN At the meet ing of North Gwillimbury Township Council last week Reeve Joe Dales reported that Ontario Health Minister Dr Matthew had in formed Km that Taylor Am bulance Service was not licensed and that Mr Robert Taylor the operator was in the process of trying to get a license The reeve had contacted Mr regarding the ambu lance service The minister had assured him he said that the Township would not be without an ambulance service and that he would cooperate by releasing a Newmarket ambulance service from any restrictions in the area Dr Dymond also said that an ambulance service could be acquired through the York County Health at a cost of cents per head the reeve revealed Dr Dymond promised him an investigation and a full re port to the Meanwhile Mr Taylor is charging residents per call plus cents a mile Councillors resolved not to pay to Taylor if a sub sidy was forthcoming or if there was to be no subsidy for Councils offer of to superintendent Tom Hare told Council the original culverts that had been re moved had been in use for two to three years He Zephyr Resident Dies In Hospital ZEPHYR Sarah Almeda Meyers wife of Milton Keller passed away at York County Hospital Newmarket on Dec in her year The daughter of the late Daniel Meyers and Mary Hodgson she was born in Scott township on the Third concession on Feb On Sept 192S she mar ried Milton Keller and until 1957 they farmed on the sec ond concession of Scott town ship when they moved to the village of Zephyr where they resided until the time of her death Left to mourn her loss are her husband and one daugh ter Ruth Mrs Metvin Hock ley Zephyr and two grand daughters and Marie and one grandson Gary Mrs Keller attended the United Missionary Church of which she was a member She was also a member of the WMS The funeral was held from Lewis Funeral Home Mount Albert on Thursday Dec 14 The service was in charge of Rev Ronald a friend of the family Rev and Mrs
