Certainly many more people in the world now know that exists and In fact has a place as a member in tiie Canada Family of Nations There will no doubt be many more visitors to Canada in the years to come and this will prove profitable In visiting the fair had the distinct feeling that it lacked warmth In both the physical structure as well as in many of the exhibits There seemed to be loo much emphasis on the geometric square and triangle The theme of the exposition was Man and his World But man Is not just chemicals man is a person and has qualities which are not material but spiritual It is this side of mans being which gives meaning to life that seems for the most part to have been consplcluous by its absence Mans world is not his physical accomplishments his cities and his industries These are but a subordinate side of mans existence Mans emotional side love compassion etc should be emphasized and extolled rather than strictly the materialistic development of natural resources With all the scientific knowledge man in his world must be able to live with himself and his If he is to survive and enjoy the fruits of his labor It seems to me the Expo theme herein missed the mark I saw only three pavilions that really emphasized the spiritual side and gave place to God and the Holy Scriptures The Judaism and Israel pavilions both made much the Old Testament Scriptures in their displays and one left there conscious of the fact that the Nation of Israel look at itself as definitely and permanently related to Almighty God Our Jewish friends in general and the Nation of Israel in particular must be commended for this The Sermons from Science pavilion while Its film pre sentations were scientific they certainly very clearly to mans need and Gods provision in Christ The emphasis here was not so much on Man and His World but God and His World including man In my opinion Sermons from Science has made the greatest impact on the most people for the longest period of time When first impres sion have gone Gods World will still remain and bear fruit in lives Jesus said Heaven and earth shall pass away but my word shall never pass away Matt All In all It was a great binge and one must give full marks to those responsible for setting It up and keeping It going It was a colossal undertaking All who took part can be Justly proud of the show that brought 50 million and for the most part people went away satisfied that the effort time and money spent was a good Investment Mrs Bruce Palmer and Em my are visiting her parents Mr and Mrs for two weeks holiday 1 I
