the parade Ronald AUison assisted Rev J March with the leader ship of the service The placing of a Memorial Wreath in front of the Mem orial Centre in the church by Allan Harper and Robert was followed by silent remembrance in memory of Oscar Irwin all Stokes An dre Kflowtes Arthur Case and Ernest Cousins who gave their lives in the war Jack Willbee and Donald Stewart who died in the last war Two selections were sung by John the guest soloist from Schomberg Following the church serv ice the parade proceeded to the Park Gate where family wreaths were placed by Roy Stewart and Reg and a at First Bap tist Church Monday Oct 23 President Miss Clare Rout- ledge welcomed all and in her remarks said the present membership of the society is 109 five shows have been held so far this year There will be a display of dried rangements at the November meeting and a Christmas show In December As a cen tennial project the group planned the planting at the gate of the new Community Centre
