TORONTO A dedicated band of men and women 2700 strong are giving up some or all of their holidays to help the sick and Injured Expo Members of the St John Ambulance Brigade they are all volunteers and the service they provide at nine first aid posts Is free They come from all parts of Canada to put In seven or tours of duly at Expo One man took a weeks leave without pay to do his bit Two Brigade members from Great Britain found service at Expo a great way to get to know the country Several Expo visitors owe their lives the St John vol unteers A young girls throat began to swell rapidly and she would have choked to death if Ihe St John Brigade mem ber had not identified it as a severe allergic reaction and rushed her to the medical clinic In a similar case a man whose tongue had fallen
