Sunday School Numbers of students have been unable to attend during the holiday period because they have been away at Expo the cottage out of town or maybe their Sunday School has been closed Parents now set their alarms to make sure that every child has a good breakfast and are properly dressed and ready to be off to school on time How ever it is amazing how on Sunday morning they feel too tired to rise and get their children ready for Sunday School They reason that Sunday is a day of rest and thus they are going to make the best of it However they tend to forget that their children need spiritual guidance as well as instruc tion for the mind Solomon declared The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge but fools despite wisdom and instruction Proverbs 17 The Psalmist said the cornea to their spiritual welfare We are too busy to teach them the Bible stories or listen to their prayers at bedtime We are too to see that they are up in time for Sunday School It is surprising how many children get up themselves and with or without breakfast find their way to the House of God This Sunday make sure that your children attend the Sunday School and the church of your choice
