York County public schools and high schools but administrators feel confident that the institutions can absorb the increases without drastic changes Dr Williams Secondary School in Aurora records the largest increase for the three area high schools with an estimated increase of students bringing this years enrolment there to 1135 Huron Heights Secondary School Is sec ond with an estimated increase of 28 stu dents bringing its expected total to Fred Bradley principal of Newmarket District High School predicts that enrol ment there should remain nearly the same Man Dies Of Stab Wounds At Lake Wilcox VANDOKK A Toronto man was dead on arrival at Newmarkets York County Hos pital Sunday night as a result of stab wounds near his Lake Wilcox cottage Police believe the murder weapon was a sharpened sapling left by a road construc tion crew Dead Is Talvo Kapsi 31 of Blvd Toronto a University of Toronto pro- Police said that the dead roan along with a friend who was visiting him went to in vestigate some noise near his cottage Mr Kapsi and his friend John Ferguson of Toronto chased four teenagers into the dense bush The four left their small car behind Police said that Mr Kapsi fouml a 22 rille on the back scat of the abandoned car He threw it into the bush and broke it Shortly after two of the youths who had fled returned to the car whereupon Mr Kapsi and Mr Ferguson began chasing them again Mr Ferguson lost his quarry and return- Dies Suddenly A wellknown East Township merchant died sud denly over the week end Ernest proprietor of General Store at Holt died after a heart at tack Mr also was a school bus driver Mr and his wife were Inspecting some property they owned near Campbell- ford The heart attack on the way home and Mr died In hospital He is survived by his wife Doris and a son Scott A daughter Margaret Ann pre deceased him Funeral services will be held from Lewis Funeral Home Mount Al bert at pm Wednesday to the clearing where the car was parked He approximately students Since the addition to Newmarkets Prince Charles School is not completed there will be some staggering of classes there for ap proximately two months according to Hen derson King supervising principal of New market Public Schools Mr King reports that grades five through eight will be affected by the staggering of classes there The delay In construction of the addition to Prince Charles School wilt affect class rooms Mr King explained that the addition only involves six new classrooms and an auditor ium but students who would have been in these rooms will have to be shifted to six other classes which will cause the staggering method to be utilized Supervising Principal Billings of the Aurora public schools said there will be the usual shifting of students in Association First Annual Trade Fair drew crowds of interested spectators to the Arena on Opening Night August 24 North Reeve Joseph Dales officially opened the Fair by bringing greetings from Council and went on to com mend the Jersey Businessmen for the exhibi tors they had attracted to the area He also This is not a quantity show but a quality show He concluded his re marks by saying arena manager Earl Gra ham had asked him Why dont we have a Sportsmans Show here and according to Dales If he feels it can be done Im sure it will be Pair Chairman Buster Baker also spoke welcoming everyone to the Fair and referred to the exhibitors by stating the mer chandise and services offered were dollar- wise and valuewise from local merchants He introduced the president Wil liam Honey who told the crowd his asso ciation had been Instrumental In obtaining street numbers and lighting in certain areas of the township and were at present working with Lake Simcoe Tourist Association putting up
