to Expo In Montreal summer r 1 Federal Loan Approved For Sewage Treatment ft AURORA Approval of a 16667 Federal loan for a sewage treatment project in Aurora has been announced by the Honorable John Nicholson Minister responsible to Parlia ment for Central Mortgage and Housing Cor poration Provided under the National Housing Act the loan is for a period of years with interest at per cent per annum and is based on an estimated cost of The loan will assist the town to convert and enlarge the present sewage treatment plant For work completed on or before March 31 CMHC may forgive repayment of 25 per cent of the principal amount of the NHA loan and 25 per cent of interest that has accrued in respect to the loan as of the date of completion of the project The project is the conversion of the old sewage treatment plant known as Plant in use since to the contact stabilization process Aurora council has investigated various means of improving and extending the towns sewage disposal facilities and have adopted this process Should this conversion prove satisfactory consideration will be given to adopting stabilization process for the larger sewage treatment plant This would cost
