Edward will attend the Canadian Good Roads convention at Saskatoon this month and the National Planning convention at Vancouver as a de legate of both the town and York county The county will pay for his transportation hotel accom modation and meals Council voted to the reeve Mr is commissioner for the county is going to the conventions for the county said DeputyReeve who with Councillor John Choppin presented the motion The will be wellspent in advertising the town If the county has appointed Mr to represent the county why do we have to pay asked Councillor Bert Kent The reeve explained that the money granted by the town will be used to advertise and promote Newmarket His hotel room meals and train fare will be paid by York County The reeve has nothing to do with planning said
