trustees Auth ority has been given to Proctor and engineers to pro ceed with the well and set up test pumping The finished well without a permanent pump would cost an estimated while the whnle project County met for their annual Live stock Judging Competition In this competition competitors oend the morning judging eight classes of stock including three dairy two swine and one sheep class and in the afternoon give reasons for to contest judges on each type of stock Senior Champion and winner of the Hon Geo S Henry Shield with a score of 557 out of a poss ible 600 was Bruce Fieldhouse while the Junior Champion and winner of the Col Geo Little Shield with a score of 537 was Leonard Mortson Seventeen novices took part in the competition and the winner of the CNE Shield for novices took part in the com petition and the winner of the CNE Shield for novices was Bar ry Little with a score of Winner of the United Nations Tour a trip to New York and UN Headquarters was Jas Qucensville This award is based on allround activity in Junior Farmer and work as well as in the judging competit ion The winner is pastpresident of the Sharon Junior Farmers is presently on the county executive Newmarket the chairmanship of Anne Con stable vicepresident of York County Junior Farmers where the boys were joined by girls of the clubs who had held their Achievement Day in the Newmarket town hall
