supporters triumphantly return ed home from St Marys with the Ash Morrison trophy in tow and the OMIIA Bantam cham pionship tucked away It was a first time bantam championship for Aurora as they duplicated the feats of New market but in doing so the Au rora youngsters produced a fi nale which for pure thrills has seldom been equalled Youll recall that Aurora tied the first game at home Go ing to St Marys they lost the second game in overtime they also lost the toss for the odd game and went back to Western Ontario score a sur prising win last Friday with a great finish Favored to take the the playoffs They had a 10day layoff travelled miles and club that was really up for this scries The result was a crushing de feat after a first period for the It is doubtful that more picturesque passing plays have ever been seen in the Aurora arena as Ron boys really flow all the way and deserved their big margin al though once Aurora gained a four goal lead the younger Point Edward team If they can duplicate that ef fort the yellow and black should be able to uphold the honors of the district set by a third game by chance is neces sary itll be played at the week end at Point Edward Mean
