one mill over last year Mayor Henderson said that Vie fact that the budget had lot necessitated high increases taxes was very gratifying and that the people are pleased about the state of the towns estimates for 1956 have been carefully considered and he budget is recommended as follows Total estimated ex penditures 239703 total esti mated revenue other than taxes to be raised by general taxation Of this amount 43275 for public school maintenance will be borne by public school assess ment only This amounts to The mill rate for pub lic school maintenance will there fore be mills The balance of the amount to be raised by general taxation that is will be borne by an assessment of The general rale will therefore be mills The separate school board has asked that the separate school for the annual spring rally A group Of girls from the Newmarket CGIT were pres ent but Mount Albert had the honor of having the largest reg istration The visitors were welcomed by Rev A Jones of Mrs
