and John told rescuers they had gone into the bush to look for rabbits They were missed in the afternoon by their parents who began checking with neighbors Three hours lat er scores of neighbors were searching the dense scrub bush for the children A snowstorm which began early in the afternoon hindered the searchers At no time were they able to pick up the tracks of the missing children because of the falling snow Wilson siid it was sheer luck were found He said it would havt been easy matter for the searchers to have passed within a few feet of the youngsters without seeing them huddled together asleep under the tree East police re ceived the report of the missing children- at pm and organ ized search parties to cover the area They were assisted by the Newmarket and North township
