and discussed many of he problems relating to roads The serious depiction of money appropriated for road work was again discussed and council pass ed a resolution to ask the of Highways to approve a sup plementary appropriation for construction of 6000 for the balance of this year The road engineer Davis revealed that when his books were balanced recently there was only 12003 left of the money voted for roads and he estimated that even with the ad dition of the extra grant if ap proved the road budget would have to he closely watched Petitions were considered from three groups of ratepayers
