properties is with the signers representing 17800 of the assessment involved In or der to attain the required per centage of landowners in favor of the scheme William a ratepayer agreed to canvass for Marie letter trustee wrote the secretory that no representation or meeting had ever been held by the municipality of King City with the Athletic group regard ing a fire hall and that it woull bo in the interest of its execu tive to confer with village trus tees on Sept Since the village has acquired a capital reserve fund from which it can draw for a fire hall trustees said Mr would be willing University of The official plan for King township has been approved by the Minister of Planning and De velopment Hon Mr The news was announced on Friday Sept at a special meeting of the townships planning board and municipal council Harold Rose township clerk had re ceived a letter that day announc ing the approval Gordon planning consultant pointed out that the Department of Planning and De Holland Marsh East Of Third Concession King township council Is ask ing the Holland Mnrsh engineer to approve a subsidy on improve ment of drainage south of Graham road cast of the third concession A deputation from the Marsh told council on Monday that 32 landowners on acres would be willing to sacrifice the sub sidy in order to have the work done immediately by the town ship engineer A letter from council to Mr Marsh engineer had instructed him early In August to go ahead with work to facilitate the rate payers who want the work done this fall deputation suggested hav ing a separate drilling Steve Dick Bolton proposed that some ef fort be taken toward finding gravel in the township for roads It is costly to draw gravel from outside the municipality Mr Dick who has the township
