Horticultural Society Earl Cox Barrie was the guest speaker at the last general meeting of the season of the Newmarket Horticultural so ciety Held in the school room Trinity United church the meet ing was chaired by Hill in the absence of the president Bill Fish A report on the annual con vention was given by Mrs B Hendricks Charles Jamieson reported on the sale of member ship tickets Tickets may be ob tained from Mr or from any member of the execu tive George Ruddock reported on the activities of the purchasing department Orders of nursery stock to be purchased from Bowman- must be received
