Charles Paul Marlatt died suddenly at his home, Main Street East, on Tuesday evening, June 5th in his 81st year.
Born in Clinton Township, July 19th, 1870, the son of the late Andrew and Mary Marlatt, he came to Grimsby 24 years ago and engaged in fruit farming.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. F.L. Hanna (Hazel), St. Catharines, and Miss Lillis at home; also a grandson. James Hanna. He was a member of Beamsville Baptist Church.
Service will be conducted at his late home on Thursday at 2 o'clock, and funeral from Beamsville Baptist Church at 2:30, with Rev. J.C. MacFarlane officiating.
