The sudden death from pneumonia occurred last week of Mrs. H.M. Grout at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P.D. Hall, of Akron, Ohio. Mrs. Grout was a Miss Richardson of Niagara, and married Hugo M. Grout, eldest son of the Rev. G.R.F. Grout, a former rector of St. Andrew's Church here. The remains were brought to Grimsby on Thursday evening, accompanied by George H. Grout and Frank P. Hall, a son and grandson. The funeral service and burial conducted by the Rev. J. Allan Ballard took place on Friday morning at St. Andrew's Church. Mrs. Grout was well known and beloved by many of the older residents here, having formerly spent a number of years in Grimsby. In losing her mother, Mrs. Hall has been doubly bereaved, her husband having died only a few weeks before her mother's death.
