BOSJE-MARLOWE
St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Grimsby was the setting of the marriage on Dec. 10th, of Margaret Jean Marlowe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Marlowe, Park Rd., Grimsby Beach and Henry Bosje, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dirk Bosje of Campden. Rev. B. J. Baker officiated.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a gown of white velvet trimmed with pearl sequins. A pearl crown trimmed with sequins held her finger-tip veil of embroidered nylon and she carried a white prayer book adorned with mums and pink roses.
Miss Pat Stewart of Hamilton was maid of honor in light moss green velvet with headdress to match. She carried bronze mums. Peter de Vries of Vineland was best man. The ushers were Mr. Blake Marlowe of Grimsby and Mr. Jack Wassenaar of St. Catharines, uncles of the bride and groom.
After the reception in the Parish Hall the couple left for a honeymoon in Buffalo. The couple are now residing on Ridge Road. Out of town guests were from Detroit, Buffalo, London, Toronto, Hamilton and Burlington.
