West, Walter James, Mrs. (née Ann Chadwick) (Died)

Mrs. Walter James West, who resided at one Adelaide St., Grimsby, died at the Nora Frances Henderson Hospital, Hamilton, on Monday morning. Born in Clinton township, she was the former Ann Chadwick, and had been a resident of Grimsby for the last 45 years.
Mrs. West was a member of St. John's Presbyterian church and was one of the original congregation when they moved into what is known as the New Stone Church.
She was a member of the Women's Institute, the Ladies' Aid Society, and was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, No.267, for many years.
Mrs. West is survived by one son, George T. West of Grimsby, one brother, Robert Chadwick of Clinton Township and two grandchildren, James and Sue Anne of Grimsby.
Funeral services were held from the Stonehouse-Whitcomb Funeral Home to St. John's Presbyterian church on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Russel Hall conducting the service. Burial took place in Queen's Lawn cemetery. A memorial service was held by Rebekah Lodge, No. 267, on Tuesday evening.
